Drive down along the Great Rift Valley all the way to the Kenyan border, meet the most fascinating ethnic groups in Africa - Dorze, Tsemai, Hamer, Mursi (famous for the lip plates worn by their women) and many more. The trip can take many shapes; mingle with locals at their village, going on a boat trip to view Africa's biggest crocodiles and taking in the bustling colorful markets.

DAY 1
ARRIVAL DAY: Addis Ababa
You will be greeted at Bole International Airport and check-in to your hotel. After a brief rest we go on Addis Ababa city tour; a city enjoying excellent climate all year round. We will visit museums, markets and church paintings.
DAY 2
DRIVE: Addis Ababa - Hosanna
Drive to Hosanna; enroute visit Melka Kunture archaeological site and Tiya Stelea Park (UNESCO World Heritage), and if time allows it we visit the old Addadi Maryam monolithic church.
DAY 3
DRIVE: Hosanna - Arbaminch
We drive through a wonderful panoramic landscape and arrive in Arbaminch, a town set overlooking Lake Chamo and Lake Abaya.
DAY 4
Arbaminch
Boat trip on Lake Chamo to see the crocodiles, and in the afternoon we drive up to Dorze Village, well known for their beehive-shaped bamboo houses and fine woven cotton fabrics.
DAY 5
DRIVE: Arbaminch - Jinka
On the way we visit Konso People, known for their terraced agriculture and for their unusual practice of sculpting wooden totems, the famous Konso Waka that mark their graves. Enroute stop at the colourful Key Afer Market (Thursdays only).
DAY 6
DRIVE: Jinka - Mursi - Turmi
Head to visit Mursi tribe in Mago National Park. The women are known for the lip plates they wear; We then drive to Turmi.
DAY 7
Turmi
The Hamer tribe is one of the most beautiful and dignified people of the Omo basin; Visit one of their villages and attend a ceremony if there is any. Short drive to visit Dimeka Market (Saturdays only).
DAY 8

Excursion to Murelle to visit Karo people near by the Omo River; Eventually drive back to Turmi.
DAY 9
DRIVE: Turmi - Konso
Leave Turmi to Konso, on the way we visit Erbore village.
DAY 10
DRIVE: Konso - Yirgalem
Travel toward Yirgalem crossing fertile land planted with bananas and cereals; drive past Shashemene, unofficial Ethiopian capital of the Rastafarian community.
DAY 11
DEPARTURE DAY: Yirgalem - Addis Ababa - Home
Departure day, we drive from Yirgalem to Addis Ababa where your international flight awaits you and will take you safely back home!
